Cards » manual
You select all the cards: HAL's cards, the starter, and opponent's cards using a 13 x 4 grid of available cards.
Why bother?
If you suspect that HAL cheats, convince yourself that HAL's decisions are based on his cards alone using expected values. Or, match HAL against another cribbage program running on another computer.
Choose the dealer ahead of time by clicking Dealer - Me (HAL) or Dealer - You (opponent).
For each deal:
- Select HAL's six cards
- HAL will then make his discards
- Select the starter to begin pegging
- Select each pegging play for HAL and opponent
- Click opponent's Go box to signal a Go state
- Select an illegal card to make Go box visible
- Select opponent's discards when opponent's hand is to be counted

If you make an entry mistake, click Action - Reset to start over. The hands will be cleared and scores reset.
NOTE: If the game ends in pegging, the opponent's remaining hand cards AND his discards still need to be selected!

If opponent is in a Go state and opponent's GO box is NOT visible, select ANY NON-legal card. This will cause opponent's Go box to appear so that you can click it and put opponent into a Go state.
If you make a mistake, click Action - Reset to start over. The hand will be cleared and scores reset.
